Semi smokey daytime spring look

So I’ve been a bit obsessed with the smokey eye look lately. I like adding that extra smokiness to my eyes with a bright color. It makes it feel more spring appropriate. When I apply makeup, I like to use colors rather than neutrals. So I strayed from the smokey look. But then I thought why not just add some smokiness to some bright colors? So this is what I did. I really like this look that I did and I thought I’d share it with you. It’s a simple eye tutorial and I hope you find it helpful.

The first color I used all over my lid is a magenta color

Then I applied a midnight blue shade onto my crease with a defining brush

then i used a blending blush to blend the two shades together.  I like to add a bit more of the magenta to help me easily blend the colors.

Then i used a shimmery nude color to highlight my brow bone

I like to line my eyes with a liquid eye liner pencil.  The one I am currently loving is the Physicians formula in black.

For the spring time, I like to use colored eye liner pencil on my waterline and bottom lid to give it a pop of color.

Of course, the last thing you would do is curl them beautiful lashes and apply a generous amount of mascara.

Here is my finished look.
Products I used:
Eyes:
NYX Love in Paris-Mon Cherie eyeshadow palette (all eye colors were used in this palette)
Physician’s Formula Eye Booster Liquid Liner in black
Cargo Eye Pencil  – not sure what color it is, but its like a navy blue with some glitters which help to brighten up the eyes
Maybelline – The Mega PlushVolume Express Hydrofuge Mascara
What are your go to products for the Spring season?
